It's the end of P3... (almost) the end of the MBA!!

Tomorrow I will have my last exam of P3 and the last exam of the MBA. For me it feels a lot like the end of the MBA as I am only 4 credits away to graduate... however still more 4 months to go. Also a big change is that now I'm going to Fontainebleau for (at least) 2 months.
My bag is almost ready, it's heavy and full...

INSEAD is a very diverse school, having the campus in Singapore is, in my opinion, key for the school to keep being a top business school in the world.
I have to admit I will miss Singapore and Asia, as the time here was very good and enjoyable, but now I feel it's time to go home to be close to family, girlfriend and friends. I plan to spend much of my time with them, so for that I will plan my 2 or 3 courses of P4 accordingly.

I was in the past one day in Fontainebleau, visiting the village and the campus. It was ok, but now I hope I will have time to discover the beauty of it and also enjoy France a little more than I did the times I was there before.

In 24 hours, I will be in a plane out of Singapore... for a field trip in Israel, then a stop in Istanbul and then Paris & Fontainebleau... and then Portugal and Lux in the following weekends! Looking forward for it!

50% of INSEAD MBA is done!!!

I am already in the second half of the MBA. Time flies like crazy at INSEAD and P3 is almost finishing... as wells as the MBA, because after it it's only P4 and P5... For both last periods I plan to do only the minimum credits, so in terms of courses I actually have done more than half of the MBA.
Maybe it's time for a reflection on the MBA value and I still believe that it was the right moment to do it in my career and I also think that it has great value in terms of professional and personal development.

WoW!!!! P3 already started

The 3rd period of the MBA just started and soon I will have already half of the MBA done.
Life at INSEAD is pretty busy and with that we don't even feel the time passing.
Several 11J from Fonty are now in Singapore and it has been so nice to meet them. Also the new promotion of 11D is starting now and so there is a lot of new people in the school.

Due to the Chinese New Year, P3 (only for INSEAD Singapore campus) will be a very short period and so far every course has been very demanding in terms of assignments. A new characteristic of P3 is that we no longer have one team, so I left my great team 8 and now I have almost 1 team per course, what means something like 6 different teams.

All in all, it's keep being great and I just hope I take the best of it, because soon the MBA will be over.

P2 is almost over!!!!! Who can believe???

I feel that in life time passes fast, but here in the MBA the time just flies!!!
Maybe it's the fact that we have so many events and trips, but I feel that I started the MBA few weeks ago and now I'm almost done with P2 and going on holidays during Xmas break.

I have some friends in P5 and for them the end is very, very close. By tomorrow most of them should be in Sri Lanka, enjoying their graduation trip!! They told me to enjoy and take the most out of the MBA, because before I realize it's over and it's time to go back to work!

P2

P2 is going very fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We started the period with the champagne party. Then we had the Desi Week, now the African week. And together with this goes also all the course polls. I don't know why, but the professors found the polls a good way to keep us busy and they have been almost in a daily basis!!
Weekends so far were as follows: Olympics, Monsoon Ball, Trip to Portugal and Bangkok.

Today, I just came from the Moroccan dinner, tomorrow is the South  African BBQ and Thursday it's the African party.

P1 Exams

Tomorrow I will have the first exams of the MBA. In the last days we could see the school library always full, the people always talking about the exams and all the big parties being postponed for next Wednesday.
We are having 5 exams in 3 days, but as I exempted P&M I will have 4 exams what is already enough to make me feel stressed. I believe the Z-curve will help all of us to pass the exams, but I somehow don't feel comfortable with the fact that I am not in the full command of all the subjects. OB is the one where I really have no idea where I will score, in this case, it impacts all my team as it is a group exam.
The best part of all this is that after the 3 days of exams I will go to Phuket and do a 4 days sailing trip... can't wait!!

J or P

Am I a J or a P? I couldn't care less, but it seems now I'm not ahead of things... I'm sited in an amphitheater room, because I'm in hurry and as the accounting class finished I still have to do several things, like print my flight tickets to Kota Kinabalu(Malaysia) this weekend (will climb the mount Kinabalu), send details to the charter company of the sailing trip I will be doing in Phuket end of the month, reply to an interview invitation that for some reason indicates a interview room in the Fonty campus, and some other to do's that will be procrastinated until they are redundant...

Yesterday, we had an amazing Benelux night... we started by a Heineken drink event that was a lot of fun... we song, we drink, I hold a big guy on my shoulders, we drink, we song again, we drink again... and we drink.
Then, we went to Movida, a club where I was never before... and it was AWESOOOOOME!!!
At Movida, we danced, we drink, we song, we danced with the band, we drink, we song with the band, we drink... and we danced!!!
